Sri Chakra Cement reported net sales of Rs 3,445.50 lakhs for Q2 FY26, up sharply from Rs 2,210 lakhs in Q2 FY25. For H1 FY26, net sales rose to Rs 7,177.46 lakhs from Rs 5,457.02 lakhs, a growth of about 31.5% year-on-year. Despite this revenue jump, the company remained in the red with a Q2 loss of Rs 500.88 lakhs and an H1 loss of Rs 1,171.33 lakhs, although losses have narrowed meaningfully from last year's Rs 1,608.48 lakhs and Rs 2,527.64 lakhs respectively. The balance sheet shows serious stress, with total equity in negative territory at Rs (2,305.64) lakhs against total assets of Rs 14,289.23 lakhs, and cash and cash equivalents shrinking to just Rs 37.28 lakhs. Operating cash flow for the period was also negative at Rs (3.53) lakhs. A related-party transaction annexure was filed disclosing transactions with the managing director's group entities, including loans, remuneration, lease rent and commissions.
Strong revenue growth and shrinking losses are positives, but the deeply negative net worth, dwindling cash balance, and continuous losses signal serious going-concern risk for shareholders. The stock may remain under pressure until profitability and balance-sheet repair are clearly demonstrated.
