K G Denim Limited has submitted to BSE copies of newspaper cuttings (Tamil and English) where its standalone and consolidated audited financial results for Q4 and full year ended 31 March 2026 were published on 30 May 2026. Total standalone operating income for FY26 fell to about Rs. 40.6 crore from Rs. 57.1 crore a year earlier, while consolidated income fell to Rs. 62.7 crore from Rs. 73.3 crore. The company reported a standalone net loss of Rs. 12.05 crore for FY26 against a Rs. 35.88 crore loss in FY25, narrowing losses meaningfully. Q4 FY26 showed a turnaround with standalone net profit of Rs. 6.92 crore (vs Rs. 4.13 crore loss in Q4 FY25), boosted by Rs. 13.56 crore profit from sale of non-core assets. The company expects to raise about Rs. 50 crore by 30 June 2026 from further non-core asset sales and promoter contributions as part of a bank-led restructuring, although one bank and one NBFC have dissented from the scheme.
Losses are narrowing and the asset-sale-driven Q4 profit is a positive sign, but FY26 still ended in the red and ongoing bank/NBFC dissent on the restructuring plan keeps financial stability concerns live. Shareholders should watch the June 2026 deadline for monetisation of non-core assets to see if the company can stabilise its balance sheet.
