SRU Steels' board, at its meeting on February 20, 2026, approved the unaudited financial results for Q3FY26 (quarter ended December 31, 2025) and 9MFY26, reviewed by statutory auditor BMGS & Associates. Revenue from operations in Q3FY26 dropped sharply to Rs. 118.48 lakhs from Rs. 330.88 lakhs in Q2FY26 and Rs. 936.66 lakhs in Q3FY25. The company posted a small net loss of Rs. 3.83 lakhs for the quarter versus a Rs. 50.16 lakh loss a year ago. On a 9-month basis, however, the company swung to a net profit of Rs. 140.26 lakhs, a clear turnaround from a Rs. 109.28 lakh loss in 9MFY25. EPS improved to Rs. 0.07 in Q3 and Rs. 0.15 for 9M, against negative Rs. 0.16 and Rs. 0.26 respectively a year earlier. Segment data shows the new Agri-Commodity segment drove most of the 9M revenue (Rs. 2,148.48 lakhs), while Steel revenue fell to Rs. 524.39 lakhs from Rs. 948.39 lakhs YoY.
Mixed picture for shareholders - the YoY turnaround into profit and EPS recovery are positive, but the sharp sequential drop in quarterly revenue and continued small quarterly losses suggest weak momentum. The heavy reliance on the newly added Agri-Commodity segment is a key thing to watch, as the stock is thinly traded and likely to react sharply.
