Steel Strips Infrastructures Ltd has submitted its 52nd Annual Report for FY 2024-25 along with the notice for its Annual General Meeting, scheduled for September 30, 2025 at 11:30 AM at the registered office in Mohali, Punjab. On a standalone basis, revenue from operations rose to Rs 128.81 lakh from Rs 122.36 lakh, while the net loss narrowed to Rs 86.43 lakh from Rs 132.90 lakh in the previous year; basic EPS improved to Rs (1.00) from Rs (1.54). However, on a consolidated basis the company swung from a profit of Rs 2,553.22 lakh to a loss of Rs 1,684.63 lakh, largely because its associate Malwa Chemtex Udyog Ltd performed poorly. No dividend has been declared for the year. The company is also seeking shareholder approval to appoint M/s S.K. Sikka & Associates as Secretarial Auditors for a five-year term from April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2030, and to re-appoint Managing Director Sanjay Garg who retires by rotation. Two new independent directors were appointed during the year, replacing two who completed their terms.
The standalone results show a modest improvement with a smaller loss and slightly higher revenue, but the consolidated loss driven by the associate company is a concern for shareholders. The absence of any dividend and the continued losses may keep the stock unattractive in the short term, though the AGM resolutions are largely procedural.
