Steelco Gujarat's board, which met on 14 November 2025, approved its Q2 and H1 FY26 unaudited results along with several major corporate actions. Revenue from operations jumped sharply to Rs. 1,902.28 lakhs in Q2 (vs. Rs. 33.48 lakhs in Q1 FY26 and Rs. 18.99 lakhs in Q2 FY25), but the company still posted a loss before tax of Rs. 787.17 lakhs for the quarter and Rs. 1,251.53 lakhs for the half year. The board approved raising up to Rs. 300 crore via non-convertible debentures on a private placement basis and increasing authorised share capital fivefold from Rs. 5 crore to Rs. 25 crore. An EGM has been called for 8 December 2025 to seek shareholder approval, and CS Parag Dave has resigned with Ms. Bhavisha Dubber appointed as the new Company Secretary from 15 November 2025.
The NCD plan, higher authorised capital and rising borrowings (now Rs. 11,353.72 lakhs vs. Rs. 9,133.81 lakhs in March) suggest the company is gearing up for fresh fundraising, which is positive for growth plans but will increase debt and dilution risk for existing shareholders, especially as the company continues to report widening losses.
