Steelco Gujarat reported Q3 FY26 revenue from operations of Rs 552.68 lakhs, up sharply from Rs 164.76 lakhs in Q3 FY25. For the nine months ended December 2025, revenue surged to Rs 1,902.28 lakhs from Rs 214.48 lakhs in the same period last year, driven mainly by purchases of traded goods. Despite the strong revenue growth, the company deepened its losses: net loss for 9M FY26 widened to Rs 2,121.64 lakhs from Rs 1,283.22 lakhs last year, with Q3 loss at Rs 870.41 lakhs. Finance costs jumped to Rs 751.16 lakhs for the nine months, reflecting high debt burden. The auditor M/s. M Sahu & Co. issued an unqualified limited review report. Separately, the company raised Rs 160 crore through secured NCDs on private placement at 21.90% IRR during the quarter.
Sharp revenue scaling has not translated into profitability — losses are widening and finance costs are heavy, suggesting the company is still in a build-out phase. The Rs 160 crore NCD raise at a steep 21.90% cost signals aggressive expansion funding but adds significant debt servicing pressure for shareholders.
