Steptrade’s pre-IPO fund secures Rs 100 crore in first close

Steptrade Capital's pre-IPO fund, Chanakya Opportunities Fund II, secured Rs 100 crore in its first close. The Category II AIF, co-managed by Kresha Gupta and Akshay Dawra, targets growth-stage companies in advanced manufacturing, energy transition, and emerging technologies before they list. The firm aims to raise a total of Rs 500 crore for the fund, with capital deployment beginning in August.
