Stock Market Holiday 2026: Is BSE, NSE open or closed today for Muharram?

Indian stock markets BSE and NSE are closed on Friday, June 26, 2026 on account of Muharram. The Multi-Commodity Exchange (MCX) is closed for the morning session (9 am to 5 pm) but will reopen for the evening session (5 pm to 11:30 pm), while NCDEX remains shut for the entire day. Of the 16 scheduled stock market holidays for 2026, nine have already passed, with the next closures on September 14 for Ganesh Chaturthi and October 2 for Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti.
