Stock market holiday: Are BSE and NSE closed for trading tomorrow for Muharram? Check remaining holidays for 2026

Indian stock exchanges NSE and BSE will remain closed on Friday, June 26, on account of Muharram, with trading suspended in the Equity Segment, Equity Derivatives Segment, Currency Derivatives Segment, NDS-RST, and Tri-Party Repo segments. MCX will observe a partial trading holiday, closed in the morning session from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Of the 16 market holidays scheduled for 2026, nine have passed and seven remain, including Ganesh Chaturthi, Gandhi Jayanti, Dussehra, Diwali Balipratipada, Guru Nanak Jayanti, and Christmas.
