Stock market holiday: BSE, NSE closed for trading today for Muharram; Commodities market to open for half day

Indian stock exchanges BSE and NSE remained closed on June 26 for the Muharram holiday, suspending trading across the Equity Segment, Equity Derivatives Segment, Currency Derivatives Segment, NDS-RST and Tri-Party Repo segments. Regular trading resumes on June 29. The MCX observed a partial trading holiday, with the morning session from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM closed and the evening session from 5:00 PM to 11:30/11:55 PM open.
