Indian markets are likely to open on a subdued note on Wednesday, tracking mixed global cues as optimism from gains in Asian and US markets is offset by escalating US-Iran conflict. US June CPI rose 3.5% year-on-year, below expectations of 3.8%, while Brent crude advanced 1.72% to $86.19 a barrel on renewed Middle East tensions, with Gift Nifty indicating a flat-to-steady start near 24,041.
