Benchmarks snapped a two-day losing streak on Thursday, with Sensex climbing 238 points to 76,741.82 and Nifty 50 advancing 81 points to 23,962.80, aided by value buying and short covering. TCS reported a 2.7 percent QoQ decline in Q1FY27 net profit to Rs 13,349 crore with EBIT margin narrowing to 24 percent from 25.3 percent, even as TCV stood at $9.5 billion and revenue rose 2.2 percent QoQ.
