Stock market today: Sensex, Nifty 50 extend losses for 2nd consecutive session; mid, small-caps outperform

Indian benchmark indices extended losses for the second consecutive session on 30 June, dragged down by IT heavyweights. The Sensex closed 250 points or 0.33 percent lower at 76,478.67, while the Nifty 50 declined 81 points or 0.34 percent to settle at 23,865.75. Mid-cap and small-cap stocks outperformed the benchmarks.
