Stocks in news: ICICI Bank, YES Bank, Kotak Bank, RIL, Axis Bank

Multiple major companies reported strong Q1 FY27 results. ICICI Bank posted a 16% YoY rise in standalone net profit to Rs 14,805 crore with NII up 12.7% to Rs 24,384 crore, while YES Bank reported a 34% YoY jump to Rs 1,071 crore. PNB surged 214% YoY to Rs 5,253 crore, Kotak Mahindra Bank rose 26% to Rs 4,123 crore, and Axis Bank gained 22.5% to Rs 7,114 crore. In contrast, RIL's consolidated net profit fell 22% YoY to Rs 20,946 crore, largely due to an exceptional gain from the Asian Paints stake sale in the base quarter.
