Stocks in news: Wipro, Jio Financial, HDB Financial, HDFC AMC, SBI

Multiple companies are set to announce Q1 results today, including Wipro, Jio Financial, Tech Mahindra, Polycab, BHEL, and ITC Hotels. Angel One reported a standout quarter with standalone PAT rising 102% YoY to Rs 2,707 crore on revenue of Rs 14,135 crore, while HDB Financial posted a 38% YoY jump in PAT to Rs 785 crore and HDFC AMC's PAT grew 12% to Rs 838 crore. Separately, SBI appointed former LIC executive Sunil Agrawal as CFO, Ather Energy will raise Rs 1,200 crore from existing investors including Hero MotoCorp, and Tata Capital raised $400 million via three-year dollar bonds priced at UST plus 107 bps.
