Stocks to watch: IRFC, Tata Steel, Vedanta among shares in focus today; check list here

Indian markets ended Wednesday firmly higher, with Nifty 50 climbing 0.83 percent to 24,021 and Sensex rising 1 percent to 76,991, though Gift Nifty signalled a cautious opening for Thursday. Among stocks in focus, IRFC's government OFS saw the non-retail segment subscribed 1.86 times, while Vedanta formed a new wholly owned subsidiary Vedanta Property Platforms Ltd for real estate operations. Tata Steel invested $172 million in its Singapore arm T Steel Holdings, Bharat Forge's subsidiary BFISL completed a 90 percent stake acquisition in RS Aerostructures, and Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles outlined a capex plan of about 37,500 to 40,000 crore over five years to boost capacity by nearly 45 percent.
