Stovec Industries reported Q1FY26 revenue from operations of ₹567.5 million, down about 7.3% from ₹612 million in Q1FY25. For the half year, revenue fell roughly 12.7% to ₹1,058 million versus ₹1,212 million a year ago. Profit after tax dropped to ₹29.6 million in the quarter (from ₹35.9 million) and to ₹55.4 million for H1 (from ₹83.4 million), with EPS of ₹14.17 for Q1 and ₹26.52 for H1. Both segments — Textile Machinery & Consumables and Graphics Consumables — saw lower sales. The statutory auditor Price Waterhouse issued an unmodified limited review report. Separately, Mr. Vipul Bhavsar was appointed as Interim CFO effective May 26, 2025.
Year-on-year revenue and profit declines, margin compression, and a sharp deterioration in operating cash flow (₹123 million used vs ₹15 million last year) point to weaker working capital management and slowing demand. Shareholders should watch for a sustained recovery in the textile segment and clarity on the permanent CFO appointment.
