Strides Pharma Science Limited has announced a planned rotation of its statutory auditors. The current auditors, M/s. B S R & Co. LLP, will complete their second term of five consecutive years at the conclusion of the 36th Annual General Meeting in 2027. Based on the recommendation of the Audit Committee, the Board has approved the appointment of M/s. Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP as the new statutory auditors for a term of five consecutive years, effective from the conclusion of the 36th AGM until the 41st AGM in 2032. The appointment is subject to shareholder approval, which will be sought during the 36th AGM. Deloitte is a well-established accounting firm registered with ICAI and part of the Deloitte network.
This is a routine auditor rotation mandated by SEBI regulations (10-year tenure limit for audit firms). The planned transition from B S R & Co. to Deloitte is standard governance practice with no immediate impact on shareholders. The change takes effect only in 2027.
