Adani Enterprises' wholly-owned subsidiary Adani New Industries Limited (ANIL) has successfully commissioned India's first off-grid 5 MW Green Hydrogen Pilot Plant in Kutch, Gujarat, on 23 June 2025. The plant runs entirely on solar power backed by a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and uses a fully automated closed-loop electrolyzer system that adjusts to real-time solar input. The project acts as a proof of concept for ANIL's upcoming larger Green Hydrogen Hub in Mundra, Gujarat. It supports the Government's National Green Hydrogen Mission and positions ANIL in green hydrogen and its derivatives such as green ammonia, green methanol, and sustainable aviation fuel.
Positive strategic milestone for Adani Enterprises. Strengthens its clean-energy and hydrogen roadmap, but is a pilot-scale project and unlikely to move the stock materially in the short term. Watch for updates on the larger Mundra Green Hydrogen Hub, which will be the real value driver.
