Subros Limited, India's largest auto air-conditioning and thermal products company (a JV between Indian promoters, Denso, and Suzuki), shared its Q1 FY26 investor presentation. Revenue rose 8.45% YoY to Rs. 878.25 Cr, driven by higher volumes and growth in the Railways business. EBITDA grew 9.05% YoY to Rs. 87.70 Cr with margins improving slightly to 10.02% (from 9.96%). Profit after tax jumped 16.48% YoY to Rs. 40.66 Cr, with EPS of Rs. 6.23. Sequentially (QoQ), revenue declined 3.33% due to a customer maintenance shutdown in June and delays in new product start-ups. Management highlighted new business wins, an upcoming new project SOP, and ongoing EV business development as future growth drivers, alongside expansion in commercial vehicle segments and green mobility focus.
Positive YoY earnings growth with margin expansion signals operational strength, but the QoQ decline in revenue and EBITDA may cause near-term caution. New order pipeline and EV expansion plans provide a constructive medium-term outlook for shareholders.
