Sudal Industries Limited has published its audited financial results for the quarter and full financial year ended March 31, 2025 in Business Standard (English) and Pratahkal (Marathi) on May 31, 2025, as required under SEBI listing rules. For Q4 FY25, total income from operations rose to Rs 441.30 lakhs from Rs 348.87 lakhs a year ago, while net profit after tax jumped to Rs 331.54 lakhs from Rs 114.39 lakhs. Basic and diluted EPS stood at Rs 3.96 versus Rs 1.37 in Q4 FY24. For full FY25, total income grew modestly to Rs 1,508.31 lakhs from Rs 1,441.49 lakhs, with net profit at Rs 560.78 lakhs. The FY24 net profit of Rs 12,117.66 lakhs was inflated by a one-time write-back of Rs 12,540.97 lakhs in creditor liabilities following the company's Pre-packaged Insolvency Resolution Plan (PIRP). The company noted that the Supreme Court has stayed an NCLAT order that had set aside the PIRP, allowing it to continue on a going-concern basis. It also disclosed a pending GST demand of Rs 2,678.99 lakhs (including penalty and interest) for FY2019-20 to FY2021-22, which the company is contesting.
The quarterly results show a sharp improvement in profitability on a year-on-year basis, but legal and tax overhangs (NCLAT/Supreme Court insolvency matter and a sizeable GST demand) remain key risks for shareholders.
