Sumedha Fiscal Services Ltd reported its Q3 FY26 and 9M FY26 results. Standalone Q3 revenue grew sharply to Rs. 2,788.44 lakhs from Rs. 1,721.11 lakhs a year ago, but net profit after tax fell sharply to Rs. 22.11 lakhs from Rs. 115.71 lakhs, an 81% drop. For the nine months ended December 2025, standalone total income declined about 8% to Rs. 8,137.16 lakhs, and net profit fell around 25% to Rs. 448.73 lakhs versus Rs. 601.13 lakhs in the same period last year. EPS for 9M dropped to Rs. 5.62 from Rs. 7.53. Consolidated 9M PAT also fell to Rs. 472.46 lakhs from Rs. 700.86 lakhs, a 33% decline. The company is an NBFC-registered investment banker, and a one-time provision of Rs. 17.48 lakhs was booked in Q3 for new Labour Code gratuity liability. The statutory auditor V. Singhi & Associates issued a clean limited review with no qualifications.
Despite a strong top-line jump in Q3, sharply weaker profitability and a 25-33% fall in 9M earnings signal margin pressure and weak fee income traction, which is likely negative for the stock in the near term. Shareholders should watch the full-year trajectory and any recovery in the core investment banking and fee businesses.
