Sumitomo Chemical India reported stable FY26 performance with revenue of Rs 3,238 crore (up 3% YoY) despite challenging agrochemical industry conditions including excess rainfall and delayed rabi demand. The company achieved its highest-ever profitability with PAT of Rs 543 crore (up 7% YoY) and PAT margin expanding to 16.8% from 16.1%. Q4FY26 showed stronger momentum with PAT up 12% YoY to Rs 111 crore. Herbicides led growth with 87% YoY in Q4 and 19% in FY26, while Africa exports surged 30% YoY.
