Sun Pharma will present updated 31-month follow-up data from its pivotal CK-301-101 trial of UNLOXCYT (cosibelimab-ipdl) at the ASCO 2026 Annual Meeting on May 31. In the study of 64 patients with locally advanced cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (laCSCC), 50% showed an objective response rate including 27% complete responses. The median duration of response was not yet reached, demonstrating durable efficacy. The safety profile was manageable with only 1 patient (2%) experiencing Grade ≥3 immune-related adverse events. The drug is already approved in the US for metastatic and locally advanced CSCC in adults not eligible for curative surgery or radiation.
Positive scientific validation for UNLOXCYT's efficacy and safety profile in an elderly patient population with limited treatment options, which could support continued commercial uptake in the advanced skin cancer market.
