Sun Pharma's Board approved FY2025-26 audited standalone results showing revenue of Rs 206,090.2 million (down from Rs 225,984 million YoY) and standalone PAT of Rs 6,087 million (down from Rs 26,234.2 million). The profit decline was partly due to exceptional items including Rs 5,463.4 million write-offs from discontinued SCD-044 drug development. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs 5 per share (face value Rs 1), in addition to the Rs 11 interim dividend already paid in January 2026, taking total dividend for FY26 to Rs 16 per share. Consolidated revenue for Q4 FY26 was Rs 146,117.9 million with strong forex gains of Rs 4,267.5 million. Auditors issued an unmodified opinion on the financial statements.
The 37% YoY drop in standalone profit may create near-term pressure on the stock despite the positive signal of continued dividend payments totaling Rs 16 per share. The Rs 5 final dividend recommendation is subject to shareholder approval at the 34th AGM.
