Sundaram Brake Linings Limited held its Board meeting on May 25, 2026, and announced multiple outcomes. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs. 0.65 per equity share (6.5% on face value of Rs. 10) for FY 2025-26, subject to shareholder approval at the AGM. The company reported audited standalone financial results with revenue from operations at Rs. 34,465.22 lakhs, down from Rs. 35,221.30 lakhs in the previous year. Profit before tax declined significantly to Rs. 336.01 lakhs from Rs. 614.10 lakhs, while profit after tax fell to Rs. 256.71 lakhs from Rs. 517.28 lakhs - nearly a 50% decline. EPS for the year stood at Rs. 6.52 compared to Rs. 13.15 in the previous year. The Board also appointed Ms. Shrikirti Mahesh as Additional Director (Non-Executive, Non-Independent) and Mr. Pradeep Kumar Nath as Company Secretary & Compliance Officer, and reconstituted the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
Despite a nearly 50% decline in annual profits, the company has maintained its dividend payout, which is a positive signal for shareholders. However, the significant profit decline raises concerns about operational performance and may put pressure on the stock price.
