Sundaram Finance reported strong FY26 results with AUM growing 16.4% to ₹59,908 Crores. Disbursements rose 14% to ₹32,321 Crores and Net Profit increased 19% to ₹1,834 Crores. The company achieved ROA of 3.03% and ROE of 17.5%, both improved from FY25. Asset quality remained stable with Gross Stage 3 at 1.44% and improved provision cover of 53%. Cost-to-income ratio improved to industry-best 28.71% from 30.80%. Net Interest Income grew 21% to ₹3,376 Crores. The Board declared total dividend of 400% (₹40 per share) including 240% final dividend, up from 350% in FY25. Management attributed profitability improvement to AUM growth, yield improvements, AAA-rated borrowing costs, tight operating cost control, and higher dividend income from subsidiaries.
The results demonstrate consistent execution with margin improvements, superior asset quality in the NBFC sector, and strong capital metrics. The dividend increase signals confidence in sustained performance, likely supporting positive investor sentiment.
