Sundaram Finance informed the exchanges that 550 stock options were exercised under ESOP Grant 13 (240 options, granted 28.05.2021) and Grant 14 (310 options, granted 25.05.2022) of the Sundaram Finance Employee Stock Option Scheme – 2008. Two option holders exercised their options on 29th May 2026. Equity shares were transferred from the Sundaram Finance Employees Welfare Trust to the demat accounts of the option holders. This is a routine ESOP exercise disclosure required under listing regulations.
The exercise is a standard equity compensation event with minimal direct impact on the stock. It represents a small equity dilution as shares move from the trust to individual holders, and may create a very minor increase in free-float.
