Sundaram Multi Pap Limited published its audited standalone financial results for Q4 and full year FY26. The company reported total income of Rs 4,551.57 Lacs for Q4 (up from Rs 4,160.88 Lacs in Q4 FY25) and net profit of Rs 117.34 Lacs, a turnaround from a loss of Rs 85.26 Lacs in the same quarter last year. For the full year FY26, total income stood at Rs 13,920.38 Lacs (vs Rs 12,940.50 Lacs in FY25), with net profit of Rs 317.95 Lacs compared to a net loss of Rs 512.07 Lacs in FY25. The EPS for FY26 improved to Rs 0.07 per share from a loss of Rs 0.11 per share. Notably, the Board withdrew a proposed preferential issue of 704 million equity shares after Sundaram Land and Assets Private Limited decided not to proceed with a share swap transaction.
The company has returned to profitability after two consecutive loss-making years, which is a positive signal for investors. The withdrawal of the preferential share issue reduces potential equity dilution but also means the company did not secure the anticipated strategic transaction.
