Sunrakshakk Industries India Ltd has started operations at its new FMCG manufacturing plant in Guwahati, Assam, adding installed capacity of 2,160 MT per month for Soap Noodles and 1,000 MT per month for Cosmetics. The new facility joins the company's existing plants in Bhilwara (Rajasthan) and Roorkee (Uttarakhand), creating a three-location Pan-India FMCG manufacturing network. The company expects this expansion to support better production planning, cost efficiencies, and cross-facility synergies. Management reiterated its medium-term aspiration of reaching approximately ₹1,000 crore in revenue by FY28, saying it remains on track toward that goal. The company is diversifying beyond its legacy textile business into personal care, home care, FMCG intermediates, and edibles.
This is a positive capacity-expansion update that strengthens the company's FMCG growth story and brings it closer to its FY28 revenue target, though actual financial impact will depend on how quickly the new capacities are utilised. For shareholders, the addition of a third manufacturing location reduces concentration risk and improves long-term revenue visibility, but near-term stock reaction may be limited until utilisation and revenue numbers are disclosed.
