Supertech EV has started operations at its new manufacturing plant in Harapanahalli, Karnataka, expanding its production footprint in the electric two- and three-wheeler segment. The facility adds annual capacity of 12,000 electric two-wheelers and 1,200 electric three-wheelers. It will produce the company's existing models, including the Zapster and Tiger electric scooters, the Pilot passenger three-wheeler, and the Load King electric loader. The company says this is a significant milestone in scaling its manufacturing capacity to meet growing demand in both personal and commercial mobility. The disclosure was filed under SEBI Listing Regulations, signed by Managing Director Yetender Sharma.
Positive for shareholders — the new plant materially expands production capacity and signals the company's growth ambitions, though no financial details on capex or revenue impact were disclosed.
