Suraj Industries Ltd informed the exchange that Shri Gang Industries and Allied Products Limited (in which Suraj holds a stake) has allotted new equity shares to its promoter group and public category investors through conversion of warrants and compulsorily convertible preference shares (CCPS) on a preferential basis. A total of 12,59,055 new equity shares were issued, raising Shri Gang's paid-up equity capital to about ₹21.24 crore (2,12,39,055 shares of ₹10 each). As a result, Suraj Industries' shareholding in Shri Gang has been diluted and now stands at 18.83% of the increased paid-up equity capital.
Suraj Industries did not buy or sell any shares; its stake in Shri Gang was passively reduced due to fresh share issuances by Shri Gang. For shareholders, this means the value of Suraj's investment in Shri Gang now represents a smaller ownership slice, though the absolute number of shares held remains unchanged.
