Suraj Industries has sent a final reminder-cum-forfeiture notice to shareholders who have not paid the first call money of Rs. 10 per share (Rs. 2.50 face value + Rs. 7.50 share premium) on partly paid-up equity shares issued under the rights issue with Letter of Offer dated October 9, 2025. Shareholders have a 15-day window from February 25, 2026 to March 11, 2026 to make the payment via cheque or demand draft payable at New Delhi to the Registrar, Beetal Financial. Failure to pay will result in forfeiture of the partly paid-up shares, including the amount already paid by the shareholder. Trading of these partly paid-up shares (face value Rs. 2.5 paid) has been suspended on the stock exchange since January 27, 2026. Once the first call is paid, the shares will be converted from Rs. 2.5 paid-up to Rs. 5 paid-up within about two weeks after March 11, 2026.
Shareholders who fail to pay the first call money by March 11, 2026 will lose their entire investment, including the amount already paid on the rights shares. This is a final warning before forfeiture, signaling the company is pursuing strict enforcement of call money collection.
