Suraj Limited has submitted copies of the newspaper advertisement (English and Gujarati editions) for its unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2025, as required under SEBI Listing Regulations. On a standalone basis, total income from operations came in at Rs. 5,171.47 lakhs versus Rs. 5,523.27 lakhs in Q1 FY25. Net profit after tax fell sharply to Rs. 154.84 lakhs from Rs. 420.76 lakhs year-on-year, with basic and diluted EPS declining to Rs. 0.84 from Rs. 2.29. On a consolidated basis, net profit after tax dropped to Rs. 274.38 lakhs from Rs. 569.99 lakhs, while EPS fell to Rs. 1.49 from Rs. 3.10. Full-year FY25 audited figures are also reproduced for comparison.
Revenue held up reasonably well, but the steep ~63% fall in standalone net profit and ~52% fall in consolidated net profit indicate significant margin pressure in Q1 FY26, which may be a negative signal for short-term sentiment. Investors should look for management commentary on the cost side and check whether this weakness is one-off or part of a trend in coming quarters.
