Surana Telecom and Power Limited reported Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025) unaudited results. Standalone revenue from operations was largely flat at ₹202.52 lakhs (vs ₹200.98 lakhs YoY), but total income rose to ₹530.02 lakhs driven by a jump in other income to ₹327.50 lakhs. Standalone profit after tax jumped 72.6% YoY to ₹271.84 lakhs (from ₹157.53 lakhs), while consolidated PAT rose 34.6% to ₹244.87 lakhs. Consolidated revenue from operations, however, dipped 5.3% YoY to ₹414.36 lakhs. The board also approved re-appointment of Narender Surana as MD for three years (till May 2028) and divestment of 7% equity in subsidiary Aryavaan Renewable Energy, subject to shareholder approval. Auditor Luharuka & Associates issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications.
The sharp PAT growth is largely aided by higher other income and lower depreciation rather than core operating strength, so shareholders should watch whether this is sustainable. The proposed 7% stake sale in a material subsidiary may unlock value but reduces the company's footprint in the renewable energy segment.
