Suratwwala Business Group Limited has informed the exchanges that Mr. Shailesh Kasegoankar (DIN: 07369961), who is already a Non-Executive Independent Director on the parent company's board, has been appointed as an Additional Non-Executive Independent Director on the board of its material subsidiary Suratwwala Natural Energy Resource Private Limited (formerly an LLP). The appointment took effect from June 24, 2025, for a term of 3 years (till June 23, 2028), subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting. Mr. Kasegoankar has 25 years of experience in architectural design, development, and project management across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. The appointment was made to comply with SEBI's Regulation 24(1), which mandates that at least one independent director of a listed entity sits on the board of its material subsidiaries. The company confirmed he is not debarred by SEBI and that promoters have no interest in the appointment.
