Surya Roshni Limited reported Q4FY26 consolidated revenue of ₹2,163 crore, broadly stable YoY but up 12% sequentially. EBITDA declined 19% YoY to ₹170 crore with margins compressing to 7.9% from 9.9% in Q4FY25, while PAT improved 23% sequentially to ₹98 crore on better realizations. FY26 full-year revenue stood at ₹7,540 crore with PAT of ₹286 crore, down 18% YoY. The Steel Pipes segment achieved highest-ever quarterly dispatch volumes of 2.6 lakh tonnes with an order book of ₹1,000 crore providing strong visibility for H1FY27. The Lighting & Consumer Durables segment reported 9% YoY growth to ₹501 crore in Q4FY26. The company maintains a net cash surplus of ₹337 crore with lean balance sheet.
Margin compression in both segments is concerning for profitability-focused investors, though the strong order book of ₹1,000 crore in steel pipes and recovery in sequential PAT provide near-term visibility. The company's net cash position and focus on value-added products (43% of steel revenues) offer some balance sheet strength.
