Suryalata Spinning Mills' Board approved audited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q4 and FY ended March 31, 2025, with the statutory auditor issuing an unmodified opinion. Standalone FY25 revenue from operations rose to Rs. 48,296 lakhs from Rs. 44,107 lakhs, but profit after tax fell to Rs. 962 lakhs from Rs. 1,193 lakhs and EPS declined to Rs. 23.04 from Rs. 27.96. The Board recommended an 8% dividend on cumulative redeemable preference shares and a 20% dividend (Rs. 2 per share) on equity shares for non-promoter shareholders, subject to AGM approval. It also re-appointed Sri Mahender Kumar Agarwal as Joint Managing Director for five years and re-appointed the Internal Auditor (Brahmayya & Co) and Cost Auditor (Aruna Prasad & Co) for FY26.
Higher topline was offset by rising input and power costs, leading to a double-digit decline in full-year profits, which may weigh on sentiment despite the dividend announcement and positive operating cash flow of Rs. 1,953 lakhs.
