Suryalata Spinning Mills reported strong Q1 FY26 results with standalone revenue from operations rising to ₹12,313 lakhs from ₹11,438 lakhs in Q1 FY25 (about 7.7% YoY growth). Standalone profit after tax jumped to ₹428 lakhs versus just ₹40 lakhs in the year-ago quarter, while EPS climbed to ₹10.04 from ₹0.93. On a consolidated basis, revenue grew to ₹12,609 lakhs and PAT nearly tripled to ₹584 lakhs (vs ₹202 lakhs), helped by the wholly-owned subsidiary Suntree Solar Energy. The statutory auditor K.S. Rao & Co issued an unmodified limited review report with no qualifications. The board also fixed September 24, 2025 as the record date for the final dividend and scheduled the 42nd AGM for September 27, 2025.
Sharp year-on-year jump in profitability, driven by both revenue growth and lower raw material and finance costs, is a positive signal for shareholders. Stock could see short-term interest, though Q1 FY25 base was unusually low so sustainability of margins will be watched in coming quarters.
