Suzlon Energy has secured a repeat order of 195 MW from Sunsure Energy, bringing its total 3 MW platform sales to nearly 9 GW. The order comprises 65 S144 wind turbine generators (3.0 MW each) to be installed in Bijapur district, Karnataka. With this order, Suzlon's orderbook in Karnataka crosses the 2 GW milestone, and its cumulative partnership with Sunsure nears 300 MW across Maharashtra and Karnataka. The S144 platform secured over 2.4 GW of orders in FY26, reflecting strong market demand. Suzlon will handle supply, erection, commissioning, and ongoing operations and maintenance for the project. This reinforces Suzlon's position as India's leading renewable energy solutions provider with ~21.5 GW installed globally.
The repeat order from Sunsure Energy signals strong customer confidence in Suzlon's technology and execution capabilities. The Karnataka orderbook crossing 2 GW highlights regional growth momentum, which should be positive for the company's order book visibility and revenue recognition over the coming fiscal periods.
