Suzlon Energy has won its sixth repeat wind energy order of approximately 100 MW from GAIL (Gas Authority of India Limited). The project will be set up in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra, where Suzlon already holds about 38% market share of the state's 5.8 GW wind capacity. Suzlon will supply, install, and commission 47 S120 wind turbine generators (WTGs), each rated at 2.1 MW capacity. The power generated will support the decarbonization of GAIL's upcoming petrochemical plant in Nandurbar. This is Suzlon's fourth PSU order of FY26, following orders from NTPC, BPCL, and AMC. PSU and C&I clients now account for over 64% of Suzlon's orderbook, highlighting its strong position in India's renewable energy segment.
Positive for shareholders — a repeat order from a long-standing government PSU client signals strong order pipeline visibility and reinforces Suzlon's leadership in India's wind energy market. The growing PSU share of the orderbook reduces concentration risk and provides revenue stability.
