Swaraj Engines Limited has informed the stock exchanges that its Board of Directors, at a meeting held on 30th March 2026, approved the appointment of Mr. Sanjay Kshirsagar as Chief Executive Officer (Designate) with effect from 10th April 2026, based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. Mr. Kshirsagar is a Mechanical Engineer and Postgraduate in Financial Management with over 34 years of experience in projects and manufacturing operations. He currently heads the engine plants of Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) at Chakan and Igatpuri, where he led a 3X volume ramp-up over five years for vehicles like Scorpio, Thar, XUV700, and Bolero Pickup. He has spent 25 years at Mahindra in various leadership roles and also played a key role in the 2025 merger of Mahindra Heavy Engines Ltd. with M&M. He has been classified as Senior Management Personnel and is not related to any existing Director of the company.
