Swelect Energy Systems has successfully commissioned a new 110/33 KV Pooling Substation at Sirungattur in Tiruvanamalai district, Tamil Nadu. The facility includes a 1 X 50 MVA power transformer for 110 KV connectivity. This substation is designed to facilitate evacuation of power from a 50 MW Solar Power project operating in the Villupuram Operation Circle. The commissioning was completed on 16 April 2026.
This commissioning represents new infrastructure capacity that will enable the company to evacuate and potentially sell solar power from its 50 MW project, which could positively impact future revenue generation and operational efficiency.
