Syngene's board approved FY26 audited results. Standalone revenue rose to Rs 3,423.8Cr (vs Rs 3,373.3Cr) but profit fell to Rs 304.9Cr (vs Rs 468.0Cr) due to labour code gratuity impact, FX losses and termination benefits. Consolidated profit dropped to Rs 316.7Cr from Rs 496.2Cr; EPS at Rs 7.87 vs Rs 12.35. Board appointed S.R. Batliboi & Associates LLP as new statutory auditor for 5 years (till 2031 AGM), replacing BSR & Co. LLP. Final dividend of Rs 1.25/share recommended. AGM set for July 29, 2026.
Sharp profit decline on one-time exceptional costs; routine auditor rotation and modest dividend. Mixed near-term signals for shareholders.
