Syngene International's board approved audited consolidated and standalone financial results for Q4 and FY ending March 31, 2025. Consolidated revenue from operations grew about 5% year-on-year to Rs. 36,424 crore, while standalone revenue rose to Rs. 33,733 crore from Rs. 32,031 crore. Consolidated net profit for FY25 dipped slightly to Rs. 4,962 crore versus Rs. 5,100 crore in FY24. The board recommended a final dividend of Rs. 1.25 per share (face value Rs. 10), with a record date of June 27, 2025. V Sreedharan & Associates has been appointed as Secretarial Auditors for five years starting from the 2025 AGM, while statutory auditor B S R & Co. LLP continues with an unqualified opinion. The board also approved raising the MD & CEO Peter Bains' managerial remuneration ceiling to up to 7% of net profits, and amendments to the Long Term Incentive Performance Share Plan 2023, including termination of the older RSU Plan 2020.
Mostly neutral to mildly positive: results show steady top-line growth but a small dip in consolidated profit, while the Rs. 1.25 dividend rewards shareholders. The CEO remuneration hike and stock plan changes are routine governance items and unlikely to move the stock sharply on their own.
