Syschem India has settled a cheque dishonour case (Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act) filed by QP Pharmachem at the Taluka Court, Derabassi. The order dated October 17, 2025 was received on October 22, 2025, with the court dismissing the case as withdrawn after both parties reached a compromise. The total settlement amount is INR 5.18 crore, of which the company has already paid about INR 3.95 crore. A further cheque for INR 1.23 crore has been issued, but it will only be used if there is a dollar exchange rate variation needed for remittance to an overseas (Chinese) entity. The litigation, which also involved the company's key managerial personnel and directors, is now fully closed.
Shareholders should note a cash outflow of approximately INR 5.18 crore to settle this legal matter, which is a meaningful expense for the company. The closure removes an ongoing legal overhang, but the settlement cost will weigh on near-term financials.
