Tamilnadu PetroProducts has completed expansion work at its Heavy Chemicals Division (HCD) plant and will start operations from March 28, 2026. The Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board has granted the Consent to Operate for the expanded capacity of 250 Tonnes Per Day (TPD) of Caustic Soda production. The clearance covers air emissions and discharge of sewage/trade effluent under the relevant Pollution Control Acts. This is an update to earlier communications from November 2024 and March 2026 regarding the expansion project.
Positive for shareholders — the successful completion of expansion and receipt of regulatory clearance enables the company to begin producing and selling higher volumes of Caustic Soda, which should support revenue and earnings growth from the expanded capacity.
