Tamilnadu PetroProducts reported Q1 FY2025-26 standalone results showing revenue of ₹468.27 crore, up about 2% from the previous quarter (₹458.51 crore) and roughly flat year-on-year (₹467.41 crore). Despite the modest revenue growth, profitability improved sharply — EBITDA doubled to ₹52.45 crore from ₹26.02 crore in Q1 FY25 (up 25% QoQ), and PBT more than doubled to ₹45.20 crore from ₹18.50 crore a year ago (up 33% QoQ). PAT stood at ₹33.22 crore versus ₹13.37 crore in Q1 FY25. The company attributed the margin expansion to stable demand, efficient cost management, and lower raw material costs. A small ₹0.27 crore exceptional expense was booked toward restoration from the Michaung cyclone (Dec 2023). The AGM has been scheduled for 17th September 2025 via video conferencing.
Strong quarter for shareholders — profits roughly doubled despite flat revenue, signalling meaningful margin expansion and cost discipline. This is a positive earnings update that could support improved investor sentiment, though the small revenue growth suggests top-line momentum remains limited.
