Tamilnadu Steel Tubes has submitted to BSE the newspaper clippings of its unaudited Q3 FY26 and nine-months FY26 results, published in Makkal Kural (Tamil) and Trinity Mirror (English) as required under SEBI LODR rules. For Q3 FY26, net sales rose about 17.6% year-on-year to Rs. 1,895.19 lakhs, but the company slipped into a marginal loss after tax of Rs. 0.33 lakhs versus a profit of Rs. 1.88 lakhs in Q3 FY25, with EPS turning to Rs. (0.01). For the nine months ended Dec-25, revenue grew roughly 23.7% YoY to Rs. 6,618.68 lakhs, while profit after tax fell to Rs. 9.45 lakhs from Rs. 14.88 lakhs a year earlier, dragging 9M EPS down to Rs. 0.18 from Rs. 0.29. Total expenses in 9M FY26 rose to Rs. 6,610.40 lakhs, eating into margins despite the strong top-line growth. Results were reviewed by the statutory auditors with no qualifications and approved by the board on 14-Feb-2026.
While sales growth is healthy, the weak bottom-line and quarterly swing to a loss signal margin pressure, which is negative for shareholders; the stock may react tepidly as the headline result misses the prior-year quarter's profitability.
