TANFAC Industries filed its investor presentation with BSE, showcasing record FY25 results: revenue of ₹557 Cr (+47% YoY), EBITDA of ₹129 Cr at 23% margin, and PAT of ₹88 Cr (+68% YoY), with ROE of 33% and ROCE of 34%. The company completed a brownfield HF capacity expansion in October 2024, doubling AHF capacity to ~29,700 MTPA, and commissioned two phases of 10,000 MTPA Solar Grade DHF in June and October 2025. TANFAC announced a ₹495 Cr investment in a 20,000 MTPA Refrigerant Gas plant targeted for Q3FY27 commissioning, backed by a 7-year, ₹2,362 Cr supply agreement with a Japanese customer. However, Q3FY26 and 9MFY26 results showed clear margin pressure, with EBITDA margins slipping to ~15-16% from 23% in FY25, attributed to a spurt in key input material costs.
Strong long-term growth visibility from new contracts worth ~₹3,430 Cr and capacity expansion, but near-term margin compression from rising input costs is a concern for shareholders. The major capex cycle and shift into higher-value specialty chemicals are positive for future earnings, though Q3FY26 margin pressure may weigh on short-term sentiment.
